We get things wrong. Prices change, bars close, laws are amended, a number gets copied badly. When that happens we want to know, fix it and say so. This page explains how.

## How to report a mistake

Email [indirizzo email da definire] and include:

1. **the page**, with its link;
2. **the sentence or figure** you think is wrong;
3. **why**, ideally with a source: an official website, a document, a recent news report;
4. **whether you saw it yourself**, and when: for example "the bar was closed on 12 October 2026".

You don't need to be certain. A well-explained doubt is enough for us to recheck.

If your report affects someone's safety, such as a new law in a country that criminalises LGBTQ+ people, a fresh travel advisory, or a place that has become dangerous, say so in the subject line. Those get checked first.

## What happens next

1. **We recheck** the fact against its original source and, if needed, a new one.
2. **If the error is confirmed**, we fix the page, update its verification date and log the correction below with the date, the text before and the text after.
3. **If it isn't confirmed**, the page stays as it is, and if you wrote to us we'll explain why.
4. **If sources conflict**, we say so on the page, give both, and explain which we consider stronger.

We don't make silent fixes. A correction that changes the meaning of a piece of information stays in the log even after the page is updated again.

## What isn't logged

Routine updates, such as a price rechecked when it expires or a seasonal change to opening hours, update the page's "Verified on" date but aren't errors, so they don't appear here. Typos that don't change the meaning aren't logged either.
